“A writer is someone for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people.” Thomas Mannn
I wrote this morning,
which is why there is a pile
of plates in the sink
and we have no clean laundry.
But hey – I wrote this morning!
About Andrew Kreider
I'm a poet and musician, transplanted from London, England to beautiful northern Indiana. By day I am a stay-at-home dad with our three kids while my amazingly talented spouse conquers medical school one long shift at a time. At night, I'm a performer and trouble-maker. I love my life.
It is important to pace oneself. ^_^
Excellent!! I’m so glad that you did. It’s one of those trade-offs that require patience from everyone, including yourself. 🙂 Keep those poems coming!
I have the same problem every day of my life. I smiled so much at such a simple piece, my cheeks hurt now.
hahaha…all too real….dang it…i think sometimes we make it harder than it really is you know…smile.s
Sounds like a great morning… The dishes will wait 🙂
Glad i came across this! 😀
Ha. Love this. (looks over….yep…dishes in my sink as well….)
I SO get that! Been missing writing and the poetic community myself lately — so this one hits home. Made me laugh, Andrew! :-))
Nice to see your name here, Pamela. You are missed, too!
